Install guide

From a fresh Mac to visuals on a screen in a few minutes. Everything lives in the one app — there is nothing else to install and no account to create.

What you need

1 · Install STAGEVIS

  1. Unzip the download and drag STAGEVIS to Applications, then open it.
  2. On first launch macOS asks for Camera and Local Network access — allow both. (The microphone stays off unless you turn on Live Audio later.)
  3. The welcome tour opens on its own. The fastest first success is Try Demo Mode — included concert footage, zero setup.

2 · Add a camera

A camera's row turns green (Live) when its picture arrives. If it doesn't, the row itself tells you what to do next — and the Troubleshooting guide goes deeper.

3 · Put it on the big screen

  1. Hit DETACH above the preview — the output window opens.
  2. Pick the target screen with the display button (top-right on hover); the choice is remembered.
  3. ⌃⌘F for fullscreen. The cursor hides itself.
  4. Use the checkerboard button for a test pattern while lining up the projector or LED wall.

4 · Before the show

Read the Show-Night Runbook — a ten-minute checklist that catches the usual problems while there's still time to fix them.
